Teslin Yukon onto Bell II

Today we got up and drove on to Watson Lake where we caught highway 93 (Cassiers Highway).  It looks more like a nicely paved side road than a highway.  Drove through several different terrains on our way to Bell 2 and the lodge.  I just can't say enough how beautiful this countryside is.  We saw several bears and a moose.  Even I spotted one of the Bears.  The lodge we are at tonight is called Bell 2 Lodge.  It is a center for Helisking - the big thing up here.  Costs about $10,000 a week and that's just the skiing.  Helicopter takes you up and you ski down.  Enables u to ski on fresh snow and different kinds of terrain.

Anyway the lodge is beautiful. They have several different chalets with 3 to 4 room in them.  Some bigger.  Heated with wood burning stoves.  Very nice and rates are good since it's not ski season.  It has its own helicopter pad, restaurant, hot tub, sauna, exercise room and camping.  The flowers here are gorgeous and are just starting to bloom.
First really nice room in the last several nights.   Others haven't been bad just not good.  This the first place we have encountered bugs.  Pictures from this area

Tomorrow we head to Stewart. More then.
