After talking with others at the bed and breakfast, we decided to change our plans. So we made new reservations and headed to Valdez. What a beautiful drive with mountains on both sides. We drove up and over Thompson Pass. The pass area has gotten over 945 inches of snow in one winter. Unbelievable. But really beautiful. Valdez isn't much but the drive made the change of plans worthwhile. Saw the end of pipeline.
Waterfalls were abundant and beautiful. It's been two days of no animals sightings. The only thing we have seen are ground squirrels and bald eagles. The Eagles are so pretty.
From Valdez we drove back north toward Tok where e stayed at Youngs and ate prime rib for dinner at Fast Eddies. 😊
