Whistler to Vancouver Island

Whistler is a beautiful town, definitely a winter playground for the well to do.  Just has that feel.  The Nita Lake Lodge where we stayed was beautiful.  They upgraded us to a one bedroom suite which was great.  It included this beautiful bathroom and a sitting area with a fireplace (which we used).  We had dinner in the village and then walked through it.  Nice evening.

We didn't have far to go today so Dave let me sleep in while he walked around the area.

The trip down to Horseshoe Bay was fantastic.  We took the Sea to Sky Highway - so beautiful.

We had reserved the 5:30 ferry but got ther early and got in line in hopes of getting on the earlier ferry and we did.  Nice trip across the bay to Victoria Island.  Even saw Orca's playing in the water.

We stayed in Nanimo which is north of Victoria.  We drove up a ways north for dinner and to  check out the area.  We ate at a British Pub style and had fish and chips.  The halibut has been fantastic.
