Today is a sea day. Very cold and windy today with seas that are pretty rough.
The Norgwegian Sea is where we are sailing and is best known for its cod fishing. The waters are heavily populated with several different types of whales and dolpins. The bird life is fairly abundant as well. We saw several whales playing right off our balcony today. Sea salt is harvested in large amounts from theses waters as well.

We approached Bear Island around one and the fog was so thick you couldn’t see anything then as he rounded the the middle and headed a bit south the island came into view. Tall cliffs,white rocks, with moss covered tops. Very rugged rock formations. The birds are numerous catching the updraft from the ship. The island is uninhabitable except for a small weather crew and station.
